About

Second Tour Timeworks was founded from a genuine enjoyment of restoring vintage watches, with a focus on disciplined workmanship and integrity. While I am not a formally certified watchmaker, all work is performed personally using documented processes, proper tools, and thorough testing to ensure each watch is completed correctly.

What I Do

Second Tour Timeworks focuses on a narrow, well-defined scope of work to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Mechanical and quartz watch servicing
  • Vintage Seiko restoration and service
  • Select Omega mechanical watch servicing
  • Full movement disassembly, lubrication, and regulation
  • Documented testing and quality control

This scope allows each watch to receive appropriate time, attention, and verification.

What I Don’t Do

To maintain consistent standards and realistic timelines, some services are intentionally not offered.

  • Case refinishing or cosmetic casework
  • Rushed or same-day service requests
  • Pocket watch servicing
Movement workbench used for inspection and regulation
Movement bench used for inspection, disassembly, regulation, and verification
Case bench used for cleaning, soldering, and support operations

How I Work

Every watch is handled using a documented, repeatable approach.

  • Document condition before disassembly
  • Service to factory specifications when available
  • Correct Moebius lubrication
  • Multi-day testing and verification
  • No unapproved parts or labor

Why Second Tour Timeworks

I aim to operate with full transparency and clear communication throughout the entire service process. Watches are handled carefully, customers are treated with respect, and work is completed with integrity from intake through final verification.

Typical service turnaround is approximately 2–4 weeks, allowing appropriate time for proper servicing, testing, and quality control rather than rushed work.

This approach prioritizes accuracy, reliability, and delivering work I am comfortable standing behind.
