Restoration Summary (From the Bench)
This 6138-0030 received a complete service of the Cal. 6138B movement with emphasis on long-term reliability.
The movement was fully disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled using Moebius lubricants throughout,
with epilame treatment applied to the pallet jewels for stable, consistent oil retention. An additional jewel was
installed at the barrel arbor port on the bridge — a known wear point on the 6138 — to improve longevity and reduce
friction. New gaskets were fitted at the pushers, crown, and caseback, and a fresh aftermarket crystal was installed.
